TPE Welcomes Western Pennsylvania

The Partnership for Excellence (TPE) is excited to welcome Western Pennsylvania to our regional program. Organizations, leaders, and individuals from Western Pennsylvania who are committed to performance improvement are invited to participate in TPE activities. TPE offers professional development opportunities, assessments using the Baldrige framework, training and workshops, monthly webinars, examiner experiences, best practice sharing, and networking, aimed at enhancing organizational and individual performance.

On May 15 th , the Alliance for Performance Excellence, the network of regional Baldrige-based programs across the United States, announced new service assignments for the regions formerly served by the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE). As part of this transition, TPE now serves State College, PA and areas west while Partners in Performance Excellence provides support for Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. This realignment aims to ensure that organizations across these regions continue to receive high-quality support in their pursuit of performance excellence, building on MAAPE’s legacy.

Western Pennsylvania has historically had high-performing organizations committed to excellence and continuous improvement using the Baldrige Excellence Framework®. Since 1988, three organizations from Western Pennsylvania have received four Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards and since 2016, three organizations received MAAPE’s Excellence Award. TPE is eager to learn from these organizations and observe their best practices.

Once again, we welcome Western Pennsylvania to join colleagues from Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Illinois and Western Pennsylvania on your performance excellence journey. If you’re from Western Pennsylvania and would like to learn more about TPE, please reach out to Margot Hoffman at margot.hoffman@partnershipohio.org
