Reflections from Quest for Success 2025
Attending conferences is always an exciting opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Recently, I had the privilege of participating in TPE’s Quest for Success Conference, which left a lasting impact on me both professionally and personally.
Networking Opportunities
One of the most valuable aspects of the conference was the opportunity to network with peers. Engaging in discussions with fellow attendees, exchanging ideas, and forming new connections was invigorating. These interactions opened doors to collaborative possibilities and provided fresh perspectives on common challenges. I always enjoy meeting people from different sectors with different experiences that are all on a common journey – making their organization the best it can be.
From Jon Malone, Director and CEO of Northwestern Illinois Association
“Attending the Quest for Success Conference was especially meaningful for colleagues and me at the Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA), as we are in the beginning stages of our Baldrige Journey and currently preparing our 25-page application at the state and regional level. We enjoyed every session we attended, but our favorite parts were hearing from Mid-American Transplant and Delta Dental—both National Baldrige Award recipients. It was inspiring and informative to see how these outstanding organizations operate, and to draw connections between their proven practices and the systems NIA is developing. The conference reinforced our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement as we continue advancing student outcomes through the Baldrige Framework.”
Key Takeaways
The conference broadened my understanding of emerging trends and highlighted the importance of staying adaptable. I left with actionable insights and strategies that I eagerly anticipate implementing in my work.
Looking Forward
Reflecting on my time at the conference, I am inspired to continue seeking knowledge and new experiences. I am eager to help organizations on the journey to success. Whether you are taking a first step in writing an Organization Profile or writing your full 50-page application, there is a step to take. Do not wait for a perfect moment; submit the most perfect document you can for today and realize that it changes as your organization changes.
Thank you to the organizers, speakers, and fellow attendees for making the conference an unforgettable experience. Each interaction and session contributed to a rewarding journey of growth and discovery.
