START THE JOURNEY
The Partnership for Excellence (TPE) is the state
program administering the Award for Excellence,
using the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence
of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
Three specific criteria are available for: health
care; education; and business, government and not-for-profit
organizations.
With TPE, you can begin using the criteria
at two levels!
The entrance level will be assessed by TPE, along
with your organization. This collaborative decision
is primarily based on knowledge of the Baldrige
criteria, whether an Organizational Profile has
been written, whether an employee survey has been
conducted, and other factors.
The intent of TPE is to "meet you" wherever
you are in your journey, and help you progress as
effectively and efficiently as possible. TPE assists
organizations and leadership teams to better understand
the Baldrige Criteria as they begin their Journey
to Performance Excellence.
